Last Wednesday, when I came back from work, I was pleasantly surprised with a beautifully garnished dinner waiting for me at the table. I was very impressed actually. Mathias had one of his food inventions again. I’ll call the dish Kolo-Angelhair. It’s extremely delicious and healthy, and extremely easy to cook.
Ingredients:
Big onion/shallots
Angelhair
Shitake mushroom (fresh ones if possible)
Romanian Lettuce
Tomatoes
Carrots
Egg
Light soya sauce
Thai chilli sauce
Method:
Fry sliced big onion/shallots and shitake mushroom until fragrant. Put it in a big bowl. Add light soya sauce and a little pinch of salt to taste. For those who like it spicier, you can add chilli sauce. I would highly recommend the Thai Chilli Sauce. Just add about a tablespoon.
Bring the water to boil, add in the angelhair. Boil according to packaging instructions. Drain the water and “kolo” the angelhair with the sauce mixture you mixed above.
Garnish with slices of tomatoes, Romanian lettuce, carrots and a sunny-side-up egg (telur mata).
Your kolo-angelhair is ready to eat! Enjoy!
