My water heater made a flood last Sunday right? It was somehow a blessing in disguise, because the water inside the water heater was so rusty. So now we have a brand new water heater, so no more bathing with rust… eww… now come to think of it…
Not only did the flood cause us to spring clean the whole kitchen floor, but it also dyed a portion of the carpet into a rusty colour.
I thought of renting a carpet cleaning machine at first, but after some research, seems like it’s better to do that in the summer when it’s much warmer and the carpet can dry much faster (it’s 13 degrees at the moment). So, to temporary remove this eye sore, I used my wonder powder. It took me 2 hours just to remove the stain. Eventhough it gives me a great workout, it is really a pain in the neck!
It looks damp, cause it’s still a little wet. I used a damp cloth to “scrub”. It’s not entirely clean, but it will do, temporarily, for now, until summer comes.

Yes, cleaning the rust stains on carpet is really a hectic work. Its really good to know that how Rust stains can be removed by using ‘Wonder Powder’. Thanks for sharing this stuff with good tips.
