A centenarian is a person who has attained the age of 100 years or more. How many people have you met who reached a hundred years old and beyond?
Alice, the lady I’m caring for, turned a hundred yesterday.
I asked her how she felt, turning a hundred. She said “I didn’t want this”. I replied “You know, your age is considered very young in the old testament of the Bible. But God has limited our age to 120… IF we can live that long”. She replied, “That’s a relief”.
She received a card from Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. She also received a card from the Prime Minister of Australia, Mr Kevin Rudd. Cool huh! Her Majesty even attached a picture of herself on the card… way cool!
By the way, I’m not the only person caring for Alice. Below is a group photo of half of us.
Her secret to longevity? She said, eat lots of vegetables.

Congratulations, Alice.
