Last Saturday, our church organized a Community Blitz. It’s an opportunity for us to give a little back to the community, and a humbling experience.
We were assigned to a primary school nearby the church. When we reached there, signed up and everything, Mathias and I were given the task to clean the girl’s toilet. The toilet didn’t look dirty, but man… cleaning the walls and windows and whatever we think needs cleaning, took us 2 hours! At first, it was only Mat and I cleaning the girl’s toilet. Halfway, another girl came in to help, and when we left the floor, Jeff, our cellgroup leader came in to help.

After that, we were given the task to paint the staircase rail.

Before we even started any jobs assigned, we have to read and signed that we have read the Work Health and Safety agreement or something like that. Don’t pray pray!

We were too artistic in our painting that we ter-paint the walls and the staircase.

I definitely felt blessed to give a little blessing back to the community.
We blessed ourselves also with a large pizza takeaway when we reached home.
