Ya, I know I haven’t been posting for such a long time. So before you start thinking that I’m abandoning my blog, I better put something up.
Reason I’ve been missing, a couple of friends have been coming to Melbourne for a holiday, and I’ve been busy taking them around.
So anyways, the post today is
SARAWAK LAKSA!
Made our own sarawak laksa twice already. And it was super delicious.
Sarawak laksa is one of my favourite food. I ate that nearly everyday when I went back to Kuching, whenever possible, breakfast/ lunch, both also can. Compared to other laksa… nah… SwakLaksa, still top of my list.
To those who miss Sarawak Laksa, just buy the paste from supermarket. And yes, can bring into Australia! WOO HOO!
Both paste above have to seive. I’ve tried the one of the left, which is the classic brand. Really good. Will be trying the one on the right soon. The third type I’ve tried is easier to make, don’t need to seive, can get from one of the shops in front of waterfront. Not as good, but easier.
I’m salivating now… argghhh!!!

i was one of flora and mat’s privileged guests, and got to taste their marvellous cooking. the sarawak laksa they cooked was really lip-smacking good!!
then again i’m dreaming about the other goodies they whipped up; chicken curry puff, fish croquettes, pies, scones, vegemite noodles, pasta …. ahhhhh yummmmm… if only they can be emailed over!
I think you are hungry lah… lol… only if food can be emailed…
waaa, i just noticed – fresh coriander straight from the pot!!!
wow, pure yumminess! =) I should try tt too.. haven’t been too adventurous with food, le.. =)
Just wondering where to get the sarawak laksa paste from Australia?
You can’t find it in Australia. I brought it all the way from Sarawak.
