I survived 9 days without it…. fuyoh~!

Life without it?… it’s not too bad actually. Just that abit inconvenient for certain things. Anyway… I have internet now… whee~

Mat named our 4th alarm clock – Pidgin

I think we played too much Monopoly, Mathias dreamt about it in his sleep. How did I know? He was sleep talking, and he said “It’s only 11K lah”….. =_=

You must be thinking I’m growing cobwebs by now. Well… nearly… but something exciting is happening this weekend! So wait…

which reminds me… I have to go recharge my batteries for my camera!

Temperatures this week has been sizzling hot! 43C for the past 3 days, even today. Sleeping at night has been a nightmare, the standing fan just won’t do. So had to turn on our rumbling aircon and sleep in the living room. Ice creams are dominating our freezer now. Just bought a 20 pack ice pops. It was so hot last night, Mat woke up at 2am to eat ice cream.

I was sooooo doo-dah, that I forgot to get off the train at my stop. When the door closed at my train stop, then I realized I was suppose to get off. So, I had to get off at the next stop, before I got too far away. For me to catch the train back, I had to wait quite a while.

So, the damsel in distress doo-dah me,
called her knight-in-shining-armor my husband,
to come and save her from the pits of despair the train station.
Swiftly he came,
riding on his stallion bike,
and walked back home together,
under the moonlit sky.

Alice received so much flowers on her birthday. When I went there the next day, I nearly suffocated! (Smell of roses and tonnes of lilies). I think you can get hay fever in the house.. hahaha

I just finished cooking, and turned to wash my pots, when I saw this!

I have never seen such a rainbow so clear and bright with every single colour so clear and sharp. Everytime I see a rainbow it feels like so far away and the colours fade/blur into each other. This was just beautiful!

Genesis 9:12-16
12 And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. The Ipod Shuffle is still haunting Mat. Even Dicksmith is selling it for $64. And upon checking the australian ipod website, selling for $65.

This afternoon will be my first day doing my casual job alone. Last week I had help. You won’t believe what my casual job is. I’m a carer… looking after a 99 year old lady. Yes, you read it right… 99 year old lady. She’s still healthy, just that she’s fragile, so need some little help. Pretty relaxing job, and so far I only have to work 1 afternoon of the week.
